MpowerHer is an initiative dedicated to empowering girls in Bangladesh through education on women’s health, reproductive health, and pregnancy-related complications. We believe that access to accurate, age-appropriate health education is a powerful tool in reducing preventable health risks, early pregnancy, and child marriage.
About Us
Our mission is to equip girls with knowledge about their bodies, their health, and their rights so they can make informed decisions and advocate for themselves. By combining education with material support, MpowerHer works to address both the informational and resource-based gaps that contribute to poor health outcomes for girls and women.
We focus on:
Women’s health education: Teaching the fundamentals of reproductive health, pregnancy, and common complications in a culturally sensitive and accessible way.
Prevention through knowledge: Reducing rates of early pregnancy and child marriage by helping girls understand the physical, emotional, and long-term consequences.
Access and support: Raising funds to provide essential health and hygiene products that many girls otherwise lack.
Community collaboration: Working alongside medical professionals and local organizations to ensure our content is accurate, ethical, and impactful.
